I just watched Tiger & Bunny eps. 20 and I’m still screaming! I can’t remember the last time a series made me writhe in my seat, chew on my handkerchief (blech!) and scream at the screen as I watch it…*wails*! After last week’s episode I’ve been ao anxious and jittery for a whole week and now THIS? No, noooo, they can’t do this to me! I never knew I had so many feelings about this series. Bunny you can’t forget Koutetsu T_T!
I normally love unhappy or surprising/ twist endings but for this series I just want everyone to be happy, especially Koutetsu! How am I supposed to study when my fingers are shaking and my head is full of Tiger & Bunny angst?! I think I need to go and read something fluffy….right now *_*!
I’m glad that Hunter x Hunter is finally back in Jump this week after another long break (I’ve been following this manga for about 10 years now so I’ve suffered through ALL of Togashi’s hiatuses) since it’s my all time favourite Jump manga, NO CONTEST. Naturally I was glad to hear they were going to air a new HxH anime, that is until I read the article above! It says they are going to start the story from scratch (versus starting with the Chimera ant arc) with NEW SEIYUU! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! No, just no ;_;! I LOVED the old voices, loved them! Please don’t take my Killua from me!!! I’m happy one of my favourite manga is back in Jump and on TV but why, oh why new voices?! *sniff* I’m gonna stop right here before I drown in my puddle of tears T_T
I watched it. It was weird. All I could think of was that they’re a bit late to the party. I realize that I’ve watched Sherlock in four different languages now *_*! No, I’m not obsessed…but a new dub is always a reason to rewatch because it qualifies as studying in my mind. As always, the French dub is my favourite. (Uhhhh French dubs, how I love you <3<3<3!) But the Spanish dubs had some of the best lines, like the scene where Sally asks Sherlock about the eyeballs in his microwave. The intonation the voice actors used made the scene 10 times funnier than in the other versions, including the original!
Sally: Son ojos humanos? Sherlock: Déjalos donde estaban! Sally: …en el microondas?!
Watch it, if you understand Spanish, it’s sooooo much more funny in Spanish!
I just finished watching the Apprentice (UK) finale! My stream almost died on me a few times but it was pretty awesome, especially the second hour which was a sort of reunion show called “You’re hired”. I haven’t laughed as much watching a TV show in a loooong time as I did watching this! Especially the Jim bits…..I never realized the man was speaking almost entirely in puns and idioms, but I think I’m excused, I was too distracted by his sexy accent to actually compute what he was saying half of the time. So, yeah, that ‘Jedi Jim’ thing TOTALLY hit home :O! Damn you with your sexy accent. I’m gonna miss it.
What did I learn from this programme? I knew I had a language kink (Scottish works on me like that friggin’ pipe out of the Pied Piper of Hamelin) but I never knew it extended to Irish as well. Darnit. I will never ever be able to watch another McFassy interview again….the combined power of sexy accents might send me to the hospital. I wonder what they’d diagnose me with…spontaneous fangirl combustion?

I usually justify rewatching episodes of my favourite series by watching them in a different language ( ‘cause that somehow qualifies as studying in my mind :D). So I’m currently watching random episodes of Supernatural in Spanish and French and the French dub has an interesting way of dealing with some of the subtext…I’d say it makes things about 30% more gay, which is, to say the least, incredibly entertaining!
Remember when Dean was hitting on that deputy in Yellow Fever? In the French dub he says…
…which means exactly what you think it does! Hah! Oh Dean <3!
And for some reason, in that episode where Dean tells Cas Ernie and Bert are gay he tells him Batman and Robin are gay instead. Okay XD. I need to watch more of this! It teaches me useful new words..like ‘plumard’…(truth be told: the thing I remember easiest are the colorful swear words).

I just got all exited because I read on IMDB Michael Fassbender was gonna be in a movie for “At swim-two-birds”. I almost screamed, because “OMG gay Fassy sex?!”….turns out I got it all wrong. I mistook the title for “At swim, two BOYS“…oh shucks! Still…that other book sounds intriguing…I’ll have to check if they have it at the library!

I mainly like light colours and metallics. Light greens/ turquoises and light purples in particular. I hardly ever paint my nails red or pink. It looks super odd to me, almost as if I were wearing yellow lipstick…
